Why I Built This
I'm Mason Reid, the founder of AskChecklist. After years of hiring contractors, making big purchases, and navigating major life decisions, I kept running into the same problem: I didn't know what questions to ask until it was too late. A plumber who skipped the permit. A used car with a hidden accident history. A mortgage with fees buried in the fine print.
I started writing down the questions I wished someone had given me beforehand. That list grew into AskChecklist -- a resource I hope saves you the time, money, and frustration I learned the hard way.
